The IIHS 2.0 mobile barrier complies with IIHS regulations and will be implemented in 2022. The total weight of the barrier has been increased from 1,500 kg to 1,900 kg. At the same time, the test speed has been increased from 50 km/h to 60 km/h. Due to the large increase in impact force during testing, the version 1.0 mobile barrier cannot be upgraded to comply with the new regulations.
