The requirements for occupational safety are continuously increasing. A shaft guard as a mechanical protection device is now the standard to protect both personnel and adjacent components in case of failure of rotating components.<\/p>\n

In most cases, mechanical protection in the form of an enclosure is coupled with electrical monitoring. Sensors must be differentiated with regard to their functions here.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

For example, setup operation at reduced speed can be ensured by means of mechanical guard locking in conjunction with the test bed software, and possible intervention can be prevented.<\/p>\n
